Research themes
We follow three main research directions:
Information Extraction in Legal Documents. This includes document classification, extracting information from long documents in a question answering fashion and summarizing complex documents.
Multilingual Knowledge Transfer. This part of our research focuses on transferring knowledge from high resource languages to low resource languages in order to help our users no matter the origin of their documents.
Layout Analysis and Document Structure. Identifying the layout of complex documents is critical to extract or summarize the information. We focus on finding end-to-end techniques to improve document structure analysis.
